Build Green

There are many ways green building is involved as we construct or

remodel a home living space

 • Legislatively each city and county has individual building requirements to follow.

 • Economically there can be future savings from reduced utility bills, and often

 • Financially we must meet these standards while keeping within the project budget.

 • Aesthetically we would like to improve the quality and comfort within the home.

 • Ultimately building and living in ways that have a better effect on the environment.

Depending on location requirements may be more or less constringent. Proper planning and keeping up with the local departments will help to clarify any issues or requirements sooner rather than later.

Leave this to us while you focus on your projects priorities.

Green building regulations are meant to reduce our carbon footprint by increasing utility efficiency.

Upgrading appliances like a water heater or replacing old windows can significantly reduce utility bills, soon turning that investment into a positive return.

Some standards are more costly to meet than others, therefore we look to provide options within the budget parameters that keep you in the green.

Assessing the costs and requirements early is the best way to ensure an affordable project that you will enjoy for many years to come.

Of course we want to make something that is not only economical but also will look great as a final result.

Designing the house to work with the natural environment can bring the best of the surrounding inside while looking natural and well built.

Over time we have continued to build structures that are more efficient and comfy, and we have continued to look for better ways to achieve our goals.

Modern developments have enabled us to at least reduce utility consumption, or in some cases render the home near a net zero energy bill.

We believe that what is built in harmony with the environment is best for the community, and we look forward to exploring how your project can be more green.
